What is a Funeral Celebrant?
A Funeral Celebrant writes and delivers a bespoke funeral service based entirely on the beliefs and wishes of their clients.
The right celebrant is understanding, supportive and will listen carefully to all your requirements to create and structure a unique and individual service.
Quite simply, a ceremony, written and delivered exactly the way you wish.
What is my role?
I am here to help and support you at this difficult time every step of the way.
I will meet with you to consider your choices about the kind of ceremony you would like.
At the meeting which is usually in your home, we will discuss the life of your loved one in detail where I will record important life events, achievements, work history, hobbies and interests and what made your loved one unique
- Liaise with your chosen Funeral Director (if you have one) to ensure everything runs smoothly and the service is as you wish
- Work with you and your family to create a personalised tribute that reflects the life, loves and wishes of your loved one
- Help you to choose appropriate music, readings and poetry for the service
- Discuss with you either a non-religious or
semi-religious service
- Support any family member or friend who would like to make a contribution during the ceremony
- Spend time writing a unique and personal tribute which will be approved by you. You can make as many changes as you wish until you are entirely comfortable with the service and its content
- Lead the ceremony we have created together on the funeral date
- Provide you with a complimentary copy of the ceremony

I am a certified funeral celebrant and pride myself on always putting care at the centre of my custom-written ceremonies for families. I consider every service a privilege to take and deliver every service with care and compassion.
Through close discussion, we will compile the story of your loved one together, in a manner of your choosing.
With my previous experience working as a police officer and teaching, I feel perfectly attuned to my work as a celebrant.
I love helping families articulate and create the best possible service for their loved ones.
I am a dad of 3 and live in North Warwickshire, enjoy Art and all things tech, along with photography and archery in my spare time
